Portland Prime is located in downtown Portland. The new addition to Portland’s lively food scene is located at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Ash Street, where downtown meets the burgeoning neighborhoods of Old Town and Chinatown.

Portland Prime has 120 seats in the restaurant, 90 seats in the Prime Bar – which will feature a piano bar. Operated by Keeler Hospitality Group, Portland Prime features fresh Northwest seafood, prime steak and chops along with farm-fresh produce and specialty items made by local artisans and purveyors. A glowing wood fired oven, charcuterie station and oyster bar, vintage cocktails, local craft micro-brews and barrel-to-tap wines by the glass from Oregon vintners will be hallmarks of the Portland Prime experience. The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner and happy hour daily and will feature a Champagne Sunday Brunch. A private dining room which will accommodate up to 40 guests and adjacent wine cellar are under development.

Portland Prime’s menu features Executive Chef Russell Kool’s contemporary heritage cuisine. Chef Kool takes advantage of the best of the Pacific Northwest’s bountiful ingredients.

While restaurateurs are nervous about opening new restaurants in this economy, Paul Keeler and his team are excited about the opportunity to exceed the escalating expectations of the Portland dining-out community as well as the many visitors traveling to this great restaurant destination.

Adjacent to the Embassy Suites in the historic Multnomah Hotel, Portland Prime is located in the space previously occupied by Kincaid’s and Portland Steak and Chop House. The restaurant was open during a staged renovation and was completed in October, 2010.
